Lecture by Dr. Stephen Sherlock at The DRAGEN Lab

"What I did on my holidays: An Early Bronze Age Ring Ditch at Streethouse, Yorkshire, England": Talk by Dr. Stephen Sherlock

In the Summer of 2025 Waterloo University students came to England to excavate a prehistoric monument over 4,000 years old. Dr Steve Sherlock, will present the archaeological discoveries from this enigmatic "circle of stones" with finds including rock art, flint tools, jet and an antler pick.  Students from Waterloo will explain about the educational programme with local schools, digital scanning, drone and lidar surveys, environmental sampling , finding and recording the site as well as finding "wonderous things".

Taking place in the DRAGEN Lab’s conference room, this round table presentation will discuss all the wonderful work that took place this year at the Environments of Change collaborative field site in North Yorkshire, England.
