Event: Historical Minecraft Speed-building Challenge
Interested in gaining some familiarity with Digital Humanities, and using Minecraft to build historic sites? Join the DRAGEN Lab’s Undergraduate Caucus for our Historical Minecraft Speed-building Challenge!

Participants will get to choose from 4 different geographic regions, to determine which historic monument, or culturally significant build they would like to attempt. Any time period is welcome. Each geographic region entry will be analyzed by a panel of judges, resulting in 4 winners. Each winner will take home a gift card as their prize!
A late lunch and participatory swag will be provided to participants. We invite participants to first meet at the DRAGEN Lab, located in SJ1 on the second floor, to learn the rules of the competition, meet the judges, and have a bite to eat.
Registration for this event is mandatory as there are limited seats**
Participants can come from any discipline, be of any age, and have varying expertise in Minecraft. We welcome folks from the beginner to expert range.
